Where's Waldo?

I am now working on developing a new zulurecords.com. I am learning PHP and MySQL in the process!

I am also working on a Where's Waldo game for Google Earth. This will involve making a 50 x 100 foot 2D Waldo and placing him on a rooftop. You will then search Google Earth and try and find him. If anyone is interested in helping me with the making of Waldo I will need a large volunteer crew, so please email me at mcoles@eciad.ca.

New Shindig Site!

I almost forgot to mention, this summer I created a clean and simple new website for Shindig, CiTR's famous battle of the bands!

New Polaroids

I have added several new polaroids to my photography page today! Hooray! This is also my first week of my last year of undergarduate studies at Emily Carr. This means I am graduating in May! For my grad project I am working on a video and sound piece I hope to get put on the advertisment loop on the television preview channel (ex. King of Floors).
Also, last week I successfully completed my 2 year co-op at CiTR Radio. Thank you CiTR!

Radio & Rummage Sales

I am co-hosting a workshop with Frieda from CJSF, this Wednesday, June 13 at SFU Harbour Centre. It will be called "Women In Radio: Archiving. Podcasting and Using The Web." It is part of the National Campus and Commutity Radio Conference Click on the link above if you are interested in hearing Frieda and I or any of the other workshops that are taking place.

I have been taking many photos lately. Mainly of the desert, small towns and rummage sales. The shots that I am most excited about I will post here in the very near future!

Melanie creates 'Web-Blog' and 'Home Page' on the Information Super-Highway

Today marks the launch of melaniecoles.com "the first draft"! It's exciting to have an official online portfolio for my work! I hope to add new works and blog posts as often as possible!

April is also for finishing up my semester at Emily Carr. I am working on three songs.

In other news I watched an hour long vacuum infomercial tonight. It could even vacuum up water.
